The Power of One Comes from Forgiving
Having trouble forgiving something or someone?
Forgiveness does not mean to agree with someone’s actions. Nor does it mean to forget. It simply means to allow someone else to follow his or her own path through choices of their own, and for which they will bear full responsibility.
Everyone has the right to choose their own direction. Likewise, they will pay for their own actions. However, an unforgiving thought will punish the one thinking it.
An unforgiving thought makes a judgement. It does not allow for cosmic justice, but only seeks the thinker’s own.
A person who will learn to forgive learns to welcome truth in all its forms.
Forgiveness is very powerful. It is still and quiet. Forgiving offends no one, nor does it seek to twist appearances. It merely looks and waits, and does not judge. It knows that a just outcome will eventually arrive for all involved.
